Breeds of Cats that Act like Dogs

1. Abyssinian

Abyssinian cats are a devoted and entertaining breed that takes to the pool and the water with equal enthusiasm.

Because of their high social needs, these cats tend to be more demanding of their owners than other types of domestic felines.

2. Ragdoll

Their tendency to become floppy and rest in a doll-like, bowed stance when picked up has given them the name ragdoll.

The attitude of this breed tends to be mild and gentle, and they crave physical contact with their owners.

3. Manx

The Manx is one of a kind because, like a dog, it responds to its owner's whistle or the sound of its name.

Not only are Manx cats unusual in that they lack tails, but they also tend to be quite friendly.

This breed can be summed up in three words: smart, loyal, and friendly.

4. Turkish Angora

The Turkish Angora is a devoted family member who will jump at the chance to help out in any way they can.

5. Bombay

They've been seen in public places like parks and sidewalks being walked by their owners on leashes.

Bombay cats are also well-known for their ability to creatively occupy their time.

When you want some peace and quiet, the Birman is a playful friend, but when you're busy, it can be a real nuisance.

Birman

The Birman may remind you of your imaginary little brother, but don't let that fool you—this breed is actually rather mild and friendly.
